JOINT VENTURE CO2DRY RECIEVES FRYSLÂN FERNIJT IV GRANT
We are proud to announce that last month the province of Fryslân has awarded the Fryslân Fernijt IV grant to CO2Dry for their project “mild energy efficient drying of food with CO2”. The subsidy grant of roughly €180,000 will be used to improve the CO2Dry pilot plant that was installed at the facility of our grant partner VNK-Herbs. The goal is to improve the efficiency of CO₂ regeneration and subsequently to reduce the energy consumption further. CO2Dry will also investigate ways to re-use the water extracted from the products, like fruits, vegetables and herbs. These products largely consist out of water and with our process the water can be extracted and re-used for other purposes.
The Fryslân Fernijt grant is provided by the province of Fryslân, SSN and Ministry of Economics with the goal to stimulate the economy and innovation in the region.
